BOOKS I’VE READ SO FAR IN 2021

You will soon find out that I read different genres of books. In the past months, I have been into thriller and suspense. 

I love my paperbacks book; the best part for me is flipping the pages. Recently I have been listening to audible instead, never really been a fan of audible, notwithstanding it has become quite handy for me lately.

So If you are interested in thriller & suspense, this is for you.

The silent wife

This book was a good read. It reminds me of a book I once read, behind closed doors. I love the narration between Lara and Maggie; it gave a narrative from both sides, which was quite different. It just brings home the fact that there are two sides to a story, like seeing the same incident from an alternative view. Things are just not always as it seems, although not very easy, it is essential to see things from other people view. Their actions/attitude may not be right; there is always a reason behind it. It highlights domestic violence even in wealthy homes.

The newlyweds

Highly recommend it.

It started as another case of domestic violence in marriage, similar to the silent wife. I was beginning to get bored a few pages into it, WOW! the plot twist was wow, and it just carried on till the end of the book, A jaw-dropper, heart-gripping. Loved it
